NEW JAMIESONS RUN COUNTRY SELECTION - July 2005![]() Inspired by the diversity, richness and beauty of the Australian countryside, Jamiesons Run has crafted a new range of premium Coonawarra wines called Country Selection to reflect the special relationship Australians have with the land. Set to continue Jamiesons Run’s multi award winning status, three elegant and perfectly balanced wines feature in the new Country Selection range; a 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2003 Shiraz and 2005 Chardonnay. Jamiesons Run Country Selection offers a range crafted through hard work with fruit sourced from vineyards located on some of our best Coonawarra land. The Country Selection thereby highlights Jamiesons Run’s position as a producer of fine Coonawarra wines borne from an exceptional Australian landscape. Andrew Hales, Senior Winemaker for Jamiesons Run says of the 2003 vintage, “Warm conditions early in the ripening season were followed by cooler overcast weather and the occasional light rain through February into March. This slowed down the ripening of the fruit until late March, early April, after which warm and sunny conditions ensured the fruit developed strong berry flavours, moderate acid and ripe tannins.” Showcasing the quality of Coonawarra sourced wines, the Country Selection range reflects our connection to the land, our vines, the vineyards and surrounds. They evoke and embody what is unique and special to Australians. |
